Closing Website

Because of last year's health issues and a change in my philosophy, I decided to close my website.  I am selling on Ebay and Etsy or I can fill custom orders for you if you just contact me via email.  I'll be changing things over to the blogsite and posting some of my offerings as new items are made.  Some, but not all are listed on the other websites.  I just don't have the time to pursue my interests and maintain a website at this time.  We have saved the "mobile" site we were beginning if I at a later date I decide to open up the site again. It just takes more computer time and computer "thinking" than my brain wants me to do right now.  I attribute this to the chemo and I do see the brain coming around, but it wants to pursue more creative outlets, like painting.  I try to stay in tune with what I need at a given time or it could be my age too!

So, I hope to hear from you.  Please feel free to pass this blogsite along to friends.  I have scarves on the loom as well as silk blouse fabric....the rug loom is still in disarray with only a parcial threading happening.  I found a tub of organic cotton yarn in the natural colors I saved back that is still strong, so towels loom in my future as well as blouse fabric.

Change can be exciting!

Spring in the Mimbres Valley

We are living in the beautiful Mimbres Valley which is in the mountains at about 6400 ft.  It's been such a delight to wake up to the beautiful scenery.  We've been keeping tabs on the growth of some Century Plants that grow at an even higher elevation.  And I'm working with some cactus to see about a new painting.  Here are some view:

Store is Open

Hello everyone, I know it's been a while, yet here we are again.  I'm in the process of updating my website, opening the Etsy Store again and have a few items posted on Ebay. I will be adding new fibers a little at a time.  There are some handpainted fibers and yarn, and undyed fibers that are just lovely and ready for color!  I hope to hear from you and are enjoying the coming of spring!

Life Changes

I am healing from breast cancer. I can tell you it hasn't been an easy road, but since the tumor was so large and I'd waited quite a while I needed to do this quickly.  I feel like I've lost some brain cells!!! Once the brain is back together I will continue to post and share and open my sites for sales.  I'm told this will be a year off to heal.  My year officially ends in July, but I'm already getting my spark back and feeling like I can see the end. I'll know more once the radiation is well on it's way or over!

Thank you for all the lovely comments, emails and warm wishes.  I'm convinced that this and our lovely close community has help the healing to happen with a positive attitude.

Downsizing....Loom for Sale

I've decided I need to downsize my studio so I'm selling my cotton yarns at a huge discount and selling on of my looms.  This is a lovely loom, great workmanship.  It is a Loomcraft 8 harness, 12 treadle loom.  It will weave anything you want except rugs.  It comes with lease sticks, 2 reeds at 12 and 6 dent, and an amazing loom bench.  Any questions be sure to email me.  I'm asking $1500

Silk/Wool new colors

I've been dyeing yarn and fiber lately.  Here are the new colors for the washable merino wool/silk combination.  It's a 50/50 blend...very nice!
