Spring in the Mimbres Valley

We are living in the beautiful Mimbres Valley which is in the mountains at about 6400 ft.  It's been such a delight to wake up to the beautiful scenery.  We've been keeping tabs on the growth of some Century Plants that grow at an even higher elevation.  And I'm working with some cactus to see about a new painting.  Here are some view:
