Just off the loom

I've been weaving yardage of the colorgrown organic cotton and took 7 yards off the loom this weekend.   It's in an M and O's woven pattern and the colors really look great after washing....if you go to the December 25th blog you can see this before washing.

This is a doubleweave project I learned from Suzanne Halvorson.  I made a scarf like this but the photos didn't come out, so this is the wall hanging.  It's cool because you can put pencils or knitting needles in the "pocket" areas.  This is rayon chenille and I need to get it ready to hang.

Flame Painting on Copper...just learning

I just thought I'd share some of the current copper painting I've been doing.  This is all in the learning process.  I can't reproduce anything yet.  But they are really cool and I'm going to use them in different ways.

This will become a pendant

This is one of the first.  It's framed in copper from an old roof in Silver City

Just practice pieces to become earrings or small necklaces

these will be earrings, they are tiny really maybe 1/2 inch

earrings to be...do they have to match?

Almost earrings...I framed the painting with a pounded edge

It's hard to see but the flame is beginning to be controlled
