These shawls are made with a variety of yarns that add a lot of color and texture. The rayon chenille adds a lot of softness . I'm playing with something called differential shrinkage to shape the shawl from the woven fabric.
The first one is a large shawl, very roomy and will work for a larger person or wrap a smaller to keep real warm.
This is a smaller shawl and has some added texture because of the angora yarn used.
I'm really seeing how my messy studio is in these photos!!!
