Drip dry and freezing colors

So, do you think it might have been cold last night and early this morning...these are icicles...I left the fiber out on the line all night....

Spring in the Mimbres

We are finally seeing signs of spring...it's still 20 degrees in the morning and 70 by afternoon...so the plants must think it's spring!  Actually we were able to root plants for a while...love this time of year! Today it was 24 degrees when I got to take the puppy out and stay outside because it was still dark and the coyotes and a skunk were near!! But it didn't feel so cold...funny.

can you believe how short the hyacinth is!! smells wonderful

first signs of the columbine

pretty pink in the yard...very very small, I almost missed them!

the poppy is going to try it again....usually it doesn't like the location and I'm totally tempted to move it, but the it will surly die....

OK you want to see how big Zach is?

Here is a picture of Zach with some references around him to give some perspective.  He's getting big, but not THAT big! He's fitting in nicely, the old girls are accepting him pretty well...the cats have given in and decided he must be here to stay.

I'd like you to meet Zachary...

Zach is about 7 weeks old and just a cutie.  One of my spinning students brought him over and he's decided to stay and let the old ladies, Gracie and Shasta show him some of the ropes around here. Everyone is calming down, Zach is sleeping through the night and sort of poddy trained, the cats are happily staying clear of the rambucious critter, but not hiding and sooo happy he's not yipping all night!
